I am a 62+ year old senior with a bad leg who purchased these premium shoes directly from the Hoka website in mid-May for stability. I only wear them indoors inside my 1,150 sq. ft. home and take fewer than 400 steps a day. Despite almost zero outdoor wear and looking brand new, these shoes began to stink horribly on August 8. In over 60 years of life, I have never had a pair of shoes develop an odor like this. Hoka uses an ultra-thick EVA foam that traps moisture and factory gases, essentially requiring a 48-hour air-out period after light wear—something they do NOT warn everyday buyers about. I submitted a warranty claim with pristine photos of the shoes, and Hoka denied it, hiding behind a policy that excludes odor. They refused to refund a single dime to a senior on a budget who bought these strictly for medical stability. Buyer beware: Hoka does not stand behind their product or their customers.

well... I bought these from Hoka One One and the lacing has been one of my favorite things about them. It’s really easy to dial in the fit, and they feel secure without squeezing my foot. I haven’t had any heel slipping on my runs so far, so overall I’m happy with them

The shoes felt really good when I first got them, and I thought they were going to be a solid buy. But after just a few weeks, the sole started wearing down way faster than I expected. For the price, I thought they’d hold up better. I also felt a bit like just another ticket number when trying to deal with it, which made the whole thing more frustrating.

These shoes seem stable so far, and the support feels good enough for my needs. I haven’t had them for a super long time yet, but overall they’ve been comfortable and seem to do the job.

I ordered a pair from hoka on Monday night and they showed up at my door by Thursday, which was faster than I expected. The tracking updated quickly too, so I wasn’t left guessing when they’d arrive. The box came in good shape and everything was there. the quick shipping made the whole process really convenient, and I’d order from them again just for that.

Everything was right and there were no dumb little mixups to deal with. Refreshing when things actually show up how they’re supposed to.

I really wanted to like these, but they ended up feeling way too heavy and chunky for me. After walking around in them for a bit, it felt like I was dragging extra weight on my feet. They also look bigger in person than I expected, so they’re not really something I’d want to wear every day. For the price, I was hoping they’d be more comfortable and not so bulky. I also never got any follow-up after reaching out, which was frustrating. Definitely wouldn’t buy them again.

I grabbed a pair of shoes from Hoka One One and tbh the arch support is solid. My feet definitely felt better on longer walks, but they did take a few days to break in. Once they softened up a bit, they were way more comfortable lol.

I was a bit frustrated at the time because I had a sizing issue, but support got back to me really quickly and sorted it out without any hassle. Super easy experience overall.

The exchange itself went through fine, so that part was okay. But the refund took way longer than I expected, which was frustrating. Overall, it felt a bit hit or miss.

I picked these up after a minor running injury, mainly hoping they’d make walking easier on my knees. They’ve actually helped a lot with the pain and feel comfortable enough for everyday use. They are a bit on the pricey side, but for the support and comfort they provide, they’ve been worth it for me

The stock was okay overall. To be fair, it wasn’t bad and it did the job, but it also didn’t really stand out to me. I think it’s fair to say it’s a decent option if you just need something simple.

I’ve taken these out on wet paths and even a few muddy morning runs, and they haven’t slipped on me once. I was impressed at first—actually, wait, I’m still impressed. I thought they’d be sketchy in the mud, but nope, they feel really solid

I bought my first pair from hoka.com after my old running shoes started making my knees hurt, because apparently all running shoes eventually turn on you. Shipping was totally fine, and the fit was pretty much exactly what I expected. The cushioning is what really sold me. They’re soft without feeling strange or overly squishy, just really easy on my feet. I can walk a few miles now and not even think about my heels, which feels rare because most shoes are basically uncomfortable after a while. I’ve been wearing them almost every day, and they still feel great. for the comfort alone, they’re worth it

I’m really glad my usual model still fits just like it always has. It’s nice to know I can count on the same comfortable fit every time.

Am I the only one who’s been waiting forever for a refund? It’s been two weeks now and I still haven’t received anything. Frustrating, honestly

My Clifton started having seam come loose after a few months. I sent them some photos and my order info, and they approved the warranty for replacement. It did take about a week to hear back, so it wasn’t exactly perfect, but in the end they handled it fair.

My order still hasn’t arrived, and I’m starting to wonder if this is normal or if something went wrong. Has anyone else had the same issue?

I ended up ordering from hoka.com because the store near me barely had any color options. I wasn’t totally sure buying online would be better, but the site was simple enough to use and I found my size without much trouble.
I do like that the shoes don’t all have that plain, boring look. Some of the colors are really bright and others are more low-key, so it was easier than I expected to find something that actually works with my clothes.

I gave it 5 stars because, to be fair, the style choices were better than I thought they’d be and the photos looked like what showed up. I was a little skeptical at first, but I’m happy with what I got.

The shoes are comfortable overall, but after longer walks my feet still start to feel warm. It’s not a dealbreaker yet, but I expected better airflow. If this is how they hold up on warmer days, I might end up switching to a different pair next time
